Oppo VOOC fast charging limits without vooc chargers.
Oppo's property VOOC and other BBK sub-brands called Dash , Dart fast charging technology is amazing but you must use special wall plug charger and special designed cable.Vooc charger includes high quality Texas Instruments battery gauge chips for battery management system even similar chips can be found in gamer laptops. But there is a problem, they are not widely common and cheap.
Qualcomm's Quick Charge(QC) is very common , you can buy a qc compatible charger near by store on the sidewalk and you don't need special cable but vooc charger is not easy to find. This time vooc technology is meaningless.Vooc uses a special cable for communication protocol between device and charger, you can use this cable as a normal usb cable, vice versa is not valid.Vooc cables connectors have some modification so you can't measure vooc via a cheap usb powermeter, a lot of qc compatible usb meter exist in the market but i can't find for vooc. There is only one way using app in your phone like ampere, battery charging monitor.
Vooc2 limits with any charger is 7.5W (5V/1.5A) but from Vooc4 we can use 10W(5V/2A).This limit not for only phone, also vooc charger don't let you draw more than 10W with any other phones, powerbanks etc.I've made some test for different chargers and cables if you can't reach a vooc charger.Vooc4 cables have five pins so they aren't capable usb3.0 speed but compatible with usb charging downstream(usb cdp) ports.Usb power delivery is not supported.
